Outside the Helmet: Five Things You Might Not Know About Me

Most people know me as the driver of the No. 55 Toyota Camry in the ARCA Menards Series. They see me at the track, behind the wheel, competing at high speeds and chasing the next checkered flag.
But there's a lot more to my life than racing.
While motorsports is a huge part of who I am, I have plenty of other interests that keep me busy, challenge me in different ways, and give me an opportunity to have some fun. With the racing season over, I thought this would be the perfect time to share a few things you might not know about me.
1. I Love Speed, Even When I'm Not on Four Wheels
Maybe this one isn't too surprising, but my love for speed doesn't stop at the racetrack. I enjoy wakeboarding, running, biking and snowboarding, sports that give me a completely different kind of adrenaline rush.
Whether I'm out on the water or heading down a mountain, I love the challenge of learning new skills, pushing myself and finding that balance between control and adventure.
2. The Kitchen Is Another Place I Like to Experiment
When I'm not racing, you'll often find me in the kitchen. I really enjoy cooking and meal prepping, and I'm always interested in trying new recipes.
Nutrition is an important part of being an athlete, but for me, cooking is also something I genuinely enjoy. It's an opportunity to be creative, experiment with different ingredients and make something that tastes great while helping fuel my training and busy schedule.
And unlike racing, if something doesn't turn out quite right, I can usually just try again!
3. I Have a Twin Brother Who Also Races
Racing is definitely a family affair in our house. My twin brother, Will, is also a racer, so you can imagine there's never a shortage of competition between us.
We've grown up sharing a passion for motorsports, supporting each other, challenging each other and probably giving each other a hard time along the way.
Having someone who understands the highs, lows, and demands of racing makes our relationship pretty special. We're siblings, competitors, and lifelong teammates and I wouldn't trade that for anything.
4. I'm Studying Aeronautical Engineering
When I'm not behind the wheel, I'm also a student at Arizona State University Online, pursuing a degree in aeronautical engineering.
I've always been interested in understanding how things work, especially when it comes to performance, technology and engineering.
Racing has given me a front-row seat to the importance of engineering and studying it gives me another perspective on the sport I love. Balancing school with a racing schedule isn't always easy, but it's something I'm passionate about and an investment in my future.
5. I Can Juggle. Yes, Really.
Here's one that might surprise you: I can juggle!
It's one of those random skills that's fun to pull out when people least expect it. I enjoy activities that challenge my coordination and give me something new to figure out.
And while I'm not planning to trade my racing career for a circus act anytime soon, it's always fun to have a few unexpected talents.
There's More to Life Than Lap Times
Racing will always be a huge part of my life, but I think it's important to make time for the things that make you happy, challenge you and help you grow outside your main passion.
Whether I'm spending time with family, trying something new in the kitchen, hitting the slopes or working toward my degree, every experience adds something to who I am.
That's part of what Driven Different means to me. It's about embracing all the things that make you who you are, pursuing your interests, and never limiting yourself to just one path.
So now that you know a little more about me, I'm curious: What's one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
