Isabella Robusto Builds Momentum Heading into Watkins Glen Road Course Challenge
ARCA Menards Series returns for Race No. 5 at Watkins Glen International
Mooresville, NC (May 6, 2026) – Rising ARCA Menards Series driver Isabella Robusto is set to take on one of the most technical tracks on the schedule as she prepares for the General Tire 100 at the Glen at Watkins Glen International on Friday, May 8th.
The event marks the fifth race of the 2026 ARCA Menards Series season and will be contested on the iconic 2.45-mile road course in Watkins Glen, New York. Making her second appearance at this road course, she will compete alongside the field over 41 laps (100.45 miles). In 2025, she started sixth and finished eighth at Watkins Glen, adding valuable experience to her resume. She also brings additional road course experience from her time competing in the GR Cup Series.
Robusto enters the weekend carrying strong momentum following a standout performance at Talladega Superspeedway. The Nitro Motorsports driver showed front-running speed, leading laps and positioning herself as a contender for the win before ultimately finishing fourth.
While narrowly missing out on victory, the result marked one of Robusto’s most complete performances of the season and underscored the continued progress of the No. 55 team.
“Talladega was a big step forward for our entire Nitro Motorsports team,” said Robusto. “We proved we can run up front, lead laps, and contend when it matters most. Finishing fourth gives us confidence, but it also motivates us—we know we’re close.”
Now, the focus turns to Watkins Glen, a track that offers a completely different kind of test. With its elevation changes, hard braking zones, and technical corners, the Glen rewards drivers who can find a consistent rhythm, manage each section with confidence, and execute clean, mistake-free laps.
“Watkins Glen is all about rhythm and execution,” Robusto added. “It’s a different mindset than the superspeedways, but we’re ready for it. Every race is about learning, improving, and putting ourselves in position to capitalize.”
The General Tire 100 at the Glen is expected to feature a competitive field, including experienced road course racers and emerging talent, adding another layer of intensity to the weekend.

Friday, May 8th, will kick off the AMS weekend with a practice session at 9:30 AM ET with qualifying immediately following. The green flag will fly at 1:30 PM ET. Coverage will be broadcast on FS2 and additional coverage on MRN / SiriusXM Radio.
